Rich Dad Poor Dad Book Review

Rich Dad Poor Dad. The only book I’ve read till the end after almost 4 years. I’ve got to admit, this book has inspired me to start reading again.

Rich Dad Poor Dad: A Summary

Rich Dad Poor Dad is a book written in 2000 by the author Robert Kiyosaki. This is a book that will educate you about finances and overall help you become rich. This book is a story of Robert’s life as narrated by himself in which he has two dads, one rich and one poor (one of them isn’t actually his dad, but his friend’s dad). In the book, Robert Kiyosaki reveals to us the difference in both his dad’s opinions about spending money, saving money, investing, learning, and so much more. The best thing about this book is that it is very relatable and will inspire you to keep reading and figure out for yourself how you can get rich. When I first heard of this book I was skeptical as to how a book could help me make money, but it turns out this book is different. Not only will you get 2 different perceptions on money, one rich point of view and one poor, but you will also be given 10 steps on how to get our own empire started as an entrepreneur. Most importantly, this book teaches you how to escape the rat race and start working for yourself and not for others.

My Opinion

Rich Dad Poor Dad is an amazing book! This is certainly not like most business books which will bore you to sleep. Robert Kiyosaki has found a way to combine learning, business, and reading together while still making it enjoyable for the reader. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is tired of working for annoying employers and those who want to make increasingly high incomes with little to lose.
